Since the major outbreak of Coronavirus, it has been affecting the lives of people worldwide. The pandemic has had a great impact on the human race. No matter how big or small, the coronavirus has affected all.
The recovery cases have given great comfort to the people in Bhutan. Cases of recovery are increasing day by day. The medical facility in Bhutan has been very effective from day one of the pandemic. Bhutan is most probably the only country where medical services are provided free for all.
Bhutan has currently reported 128 cases until now. The cases have been gradually increasing. There has been a record of domestic transmission reported on the 11th of August 2020.
The country has announced its first national lockdown with effect from 11th August after a woman was declared Corona virus-positive.
The King along with the prime minister, health minister, doctors, and the Dessups have been truly frontline heroes in this pandemic. Their tireless efforts for the well-being of the country have brought great ease to the lives of the citizens of Bhutan. We want to thank you for being with us during the dark days.
