A much waited nationwide covid vaccination started today (27-March, 2021) and expected to get completed by 2-April, 2021. Since the health coverage in Bhutan is excellent, the vaccination program will take only one week.
Understanding the important of jab to protect us from covid-19, over 90% of eligible Bhutanese had come forward to receive the vaccines. The covishield otherwise Astra Zeneca vaccine is provided free of cost and will be available to all the people residing in Bhutan.
Thank you His Majesty The King, Royal Government of Bhutan and the Government of India for donating Astra Zeneca vaccine to us and keeping us happy and healthy always.
